To look back, to actually contemplate, and delve into the memories. We are blinded, jaded. Almost amused at the fact that from birth, up until now, at what we have become. As a person, as a human being. Not only our goals, but our morals, our innocence. Our desires, pleasures, weaknesses, and strengths. We view them, but do we actually consider them relevant?

Who would, right? Those who care about things like that? I guess it is all a matter or importance. What we “think” to be important. To be honest, those who know wouldn’t be smiling. They wouldn’t be laughing. They would be frightened. Petrified. Merely because what we consider to be of great importance, truly has no relevance with life, and what is meant to become of it.

So it is complex to contemplate why people, in their right mind, fixate on the irrelevant issues opposed to the relevant ones.

Suddenly, numbers become more important that context. Everything loses its meaning, and we only think in digits, and material.

Those who do this, lose touch with reality, with people. They lose friends, loved ones. Not noticing that such a ridiculous ideal could have such a dramatic effect on their whole life.

When you compare it to what your personal belief on what life is supposed to involve, it seems quite obvious that there are issues that need to be addressed with your belief.

  1. Dear Nadine,
Your posts are short but profound. Your profundity I noticed with my very first visit to your blog. You have realized the truth that running after possessions is futile. It’s love and peace which truly matters. I am in love with your mind 🙂

    “A beautiful mind.”

As I noted in my previous article. Most of us run after achievements, possessions and fame by alienating themselves from their friends, family and loved ones. Or if they don’t they just start considering themselves and their families “superior” than others. But this hard work invested in winning titles like ‘genius’, ‘great’, ‘original’, ‘independent’, ‘famous’ or ‘wealthy’ are based on illusions.

You want recognition and attention of masses–common people. You want their love and yet you stop talking to them. You don’t even look with love towards them. You don’t even see face of your wife, your brother, your father. How vain is your pursuit of glory?

Life is such a game. Nobody who wants to win ever wins 🙂
Those who lose and surrender win. They live in peace and harmony.

    Love 🙂

    • Dear Anand,
      Thank you ❤ I'm speechless.
The problem is nobody seems to be satisfied with what they have, everybody wants more. The thing is people seem to forgot what's important in their life: family, freinds, love, their own soirtuality etc. It's true that these people achieve success and wealth in their life but they are dead and miserable on the inside
