My emotions for you run deeper than passion, friendship, love, time, lust, and space, the feelings I have for you are infinite, it is and will always be. The comfort, healing properties, and peace I receive from these feelings and emotions are the most valuable thing I possess. You are the addiction that I can’t keep myself away from. There is a flame in my heart that belongs to you and only you; each day it grows and glows just for you. You are the lost piece of my puzzle that I wish I didn’t need, I don’t think you know how much do you mean to me.

I wish people enjoy poetry as much as hypocrisy. I wish they create art rather than wars. I wish they discuss atoms, aliens, sex, science, music instead of rating each other by ethnicity, religion and nationality. I wish they had a twisted mind who speak with emotion and kindness, not with hate and blindness.

Dear Ex

Dear Ex,

You were my heroin, but I recovered and I intend to stay clean. I’ve changed so much, I came such a long way that I can’t imagine going back. And like a recovering addict I will miss you, but I will never want you.

I woke up today and realized my heart didn’t flutter when I saw your picture. You’ve become that guy from Gotye song that was all over the radio a couple years ago
