Relationships Nowadays

Relationships have been replaced with “talking”. Which consist of pointlessly texting and a random phone call here and there. People text or “talk” merely to fill a void when they get bored. Commitment is a rare thing to find. Date nights really don’t exist much anymore. Chivalry is pretty much a thing of the past. There’s no more opening the car’s door for her or going to the front door to pick her up for a date. Today’s society cheating has been accepted way more than it should be and people classify it as a mistake. Since it is accepted more people continue to go back to the same person that has cheated on them repeatedly. (Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results) Feelings don’t really matter anymore and it’s became a hurt someone before you get hurt kind of world. Cheating or crossing the line has become way too easy with social media. People don’t put in the effort that it takes to keep a relationship healthy or work. When things get tough people give up. Relationships have lost its value over the years and they aren’t how they are supposed to be anymore. To the girls that say there aren’t any good guys left in the world, maybe you should reevaluate the kind of guys you pursue. To the guys that can’t find a good girl, I can guarantee that you aren’t looking in the right places.

 

Wordless Wednesday and Quote of the Week: Stand up against injustice

The above picture went viral in the past few days, it shows a Russian girl called Olga Misik, she sat  in front of riot police reading the Russian constitution. She read aloud the passage, which affirms the right to peaceful gatherings during protest in Russia for a free election process. She quickly become symbol for Russian resistance and her picture become symbolism of courage against injustice.

This picture reminded me of the following quote by Martin Niemöller, where the majority of people unlike this girl are afraid to speak up or stand up against injustice and oppression:

To my fellow bloggers

While the world is full of hate, discrimination and racism, I just want to tell every single of you that I love you all regardless of your religion, or skin color and regardless of if I agree with your beliefs  and you agree with mine. Racism will always exist. Sexism with always exist. Fanatic religions will always exist. DISCRIMINATION WILL ALWAYS EXIST. Abuse of power, evident from the top the bottom, will always exist. You & I can only be responsible for what we contribute and what we extract from our lives and the lives of others. Be the change you want to see. Love without expectation of love in return. Give without the expectation to receive. Perspective is everything.  This world was not meant to be perfect nor was it meant to be peaceful. It was meant to test us, tempt us, elate us, burden us, and knock us down…. All to establish our character. It’s easy to be a “good” person when there’s no adversity. But it takes a true and pure heart to remain good when faced with all the negatives.

Love is a verb and not an adjective.

The Freedom Illusion

We live in a world where, we can be fired by what we post online, for what our hobbies are, and for being an actual individual when we are off the clock. Books like “1984” and movies like “V for Vendetta” can only get the ideals of a broken society correct, but by the time literature or a movie become classic, they are buried under the actual dated assumption by which they will actually be introduced. The prediction of results however, will always be the same, and apparently too late to notice until our freedoms are destroyed.

This time, those freedoms are under a buffer-barrier. The basis of speech is free but the mediums at which we are allowed to talk never are. For instance, Facebook has become the facilitator for our communication, but because the medium platform that we are able to get the word out is owned, we are regulated due to such ownership.

In my country, people who spread fake news, orchestrate massive hate and racism campaigns on the internet, send rape threats and death threats and spread every sort of bile go scot- free; while people who spread the truth and fight for the right are either sentenced to jail, end up losing their job, or get death and rape threats. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out why.

Donald Trump and Boris Johnson

At least things can’t get any worse err oh just wait. It gets worse. Much worse. Just enter Boris Johnson to the scene.

When you see pictures of Trump and Johnson you feel like watching cancer cells replicating.

The so called politicians in my country are like Trump and Johnson; they are also literal clowns full of racism and sexism.

It will get only worse, and people will be talking constantly about how worse it is for decades, we are all in this mess together.

At least we can get few laughs out of them; I had plenty of laughs from seeing these below pictures. All credits go for their creators and artists.
