The Undefined Me

Standard

I can be light, I can be dark

I can be a diamond, I can be a coal

I can be a sunflower, I can be a snowflake

I can be silk, I can be sand

I can be a fortress, I can be a ruin

What am I?

What is love?

Standard

“What is love”? is such  perennial question. Philosophers, poets and writers , have tried to answer through out the ages, none are able to tell us lesser mortals the answer. It could be the quest of the soul has it journeys through this instrument our mortal body to find perfectness, contentment , ecstasy, euphoria, heaven, utopia, we will never know. We will keep on searching and speculating.

I’ve been tagged for happiness challenge by the beautiful soul Jessica . Jessica is an author who is currently working on her, she’s very lovely, romantic, and kind.

For this challenge I choose 3 quotes and a song:

Beauty is Skin Deep

Standard

Beauty is only skin deep
The inside is what matters
The outside is superficial
Carnal beauty to feast your eyes upon
The body the flesh the passions
That is all it is
To find the truth
Go deep to the core
Where the soul dwells
And true beauty be revealed
Like crystal clear water

Life: Sugar and Salt

Standard

Everything has a reason of happening and a purpose. Sometimes we question too much and miss the whole point. Things might seem harsh at some times, but I guess sometimes we deserve it, for it to better us. Taking an example of salt and sugar, salt might be sour/bitter to your tongue when taken raw with nothing else. But the same salt added to something else, it gives it taste and it brings out the sweetness. Same with life, we might be having a salt experience and we think we’re unlucky, little do we know that the same experience makes us better. Just hanging on, and we’re on a different level altogether.

Sugar, on the other hand, is sweet. But the same sugar added to some other things makes it worse. Kill the taste.

Appreciate every moment. Because no matter how good or bad a situation is, it either makes us better for the right reason or otherwise.

Quote of the week-The lover you deserve

Standard

You deserve a lover who wants you disheveled, with everything and all the reasons that wake you up in a haste and the demons that won’t let you sleep.
You deserve a lover who makes you feel safe, who can consume this world whole if he walks hand in hand with you; someone who believes that his embraces are a perfect match with your skin.
You deserve a lover who wants to dance with you, who goes to paradise every time he looks into your eyes and never gets tired of studying your expressions.
You deserve a lover who listens when you sing, who supports you when you feel shame and respects your freedom; who flies with you and isn’t afraid to fall.
You deserve a lover who takes away the lies and brings you hope, coffee, and poetry.- Frida Kahlo 1487499107782_DSCN1828__85609.1487654290

Saying Sorry: Fauxpology

Standard

Saying I’m sorry doesn’t fix everything. It doesn’t give back the time lost or the feelings hurt. Saying I’m sorry is really just a way to make the person who was wrong feel a little better. And if you’re repeatedly saying it then repeating the behavior, you’re not sorry at all. You just know that the person will keep forgiving you. Being sorry means you truly understand that your actions have the ability to break someone and you value them too much to be responsible for their downfall. So ask yourself, are you sorry, or are you just buying time until you feel like knocking them down again
