Not a very happy Father’s Day

Standard

Today is Father’s Day; father is supposed to be a child’s first protector, mentor, and hero but unfortunately for many a father can be their first nightmare and tormentor, so:

Not a very happy Father’s Day for those children who have always been dismissed by their fathers whenever they wanted approval or to be appreciated.
Not for those children who suffer every day and want their father to reach out to them or help them and be there for them in their dark times.
Not for those children who felt envious or teary eyed every day while growing up when they saw other fathers being physically affectionate towards their children because they never received it.
Not for those children who never felt loved by their father regardless of how hard they tried.
Not for those children who got beaten up and bruised and molested by a father or father figure.
Not for those children whose father seemed to love and be proud of anyone else but their children and their achievements.
Not for those children who confuse abuse or rape for love.

The Art of Listening

Standard

When someone comes to you to rant about an issue that may seem ‘insignificant’ to you, hear them out. And never tell them how other people have it worse and/or quote instances from your own life of issues that seem ‘bigger’ to you, completely disregarding their problem thus. For at times, all that people need is a person willing to listen to them, however little sense they make and simply be, if not anything else. And doing something of that sort does not just drive them further in their problem but also adds on a sense of insecurity and inferiority; and a guilt in them for having approached someone for an issue so ‘wee’, resulting into something as drastic as them never breaking out of their own shell and opening up again.

Doesn’t harm lending someone an ear for a while, does it?

Living life in a colorless world

Standard

Feeling nothing is not natural. Not many are born

without joy or hatred. Emotions are not switches to be turned on and off

at one’s will. They are lenses of colored glass held up to the eye

through which the world

starkly contrasts itself.

When you get to the point where your emotions are all out of whack and you smile instead of cry, or just apologize because you can’t deal with losing anyone else, your world becomes filled with mixed emotions.

In this state, eyes are dull without feeling

and lips move to soundless words

because nothing has meaning.

Living life in a colorless world for a lost soul results in moving through each day trying to get through the day with great effort…but knowing you’re heading towards the nothingness ahead can be overbearing and can cause an unbearable feeling of being alone….Every situation is more intense and every situation involving loved ones, friends, and even your professional life can make it seem like all is lost when one thing goes wrong.

It’s hard living life, but each day you wake up…it has to be for a positive reason right??

Truth and Lies

Standard

We live in a world that is upside down, that says one thing and does another. We are told to tell the truth and then told to be polite (which urging us to lie all the time with the intention of saving face and keeping everybody happy). The rules that we are brought up with keep changing. The real truth about all of us mentally is that we are confused, and control is part of that confusion. We feel we need to control ourselves in order to tell the lies we are forced to tell and to keep up with the rules as they keep changing. Once we enter the world of control (even of ourselves), we are then susceptible to being controlled by anyone and everyone. We are lost and confused

We lie in marriages, we lie in business, we lie in religions, we lie in schools, and we lie in government. We are all liars, we have created a world of illusion from words, and the brain we are born with becomes polluted with the fake. We can pretend that we are kind and do good deeds to fool ourselves that we are helping the world, but we have separated ourselves from the truth, and we have each created this fake self. When you tell a lie; you’re saying that someone either isn’t worth the truth, doesn’t deserve the truth, or can’t be trusted with the truth. Everyone deserves it, though, and it’s up to them what to do with it, not you.

Truth is a living, vibrant thing. It lives and dies every second. Lies do not die until the truth of them is spoken.

Power of Words

Standard

The effect that words can have on us is incredible. They can inform, intimidate,

persuade, hurt or ease the pain, end war or start one and cause thousands or even

millions of people to die. We have built a wall of words around ourselves, and we

have become trapped within those walls. Words can carry us to the heights of

discovery or take us into the realm of negativity. This is the energy of words and the

thoughts that precede them. We need to use words to speak the truth in each

experience of our life, lies destroy life, the truth is the energy of life.words

Wake Up!!

Standard

It’s surprising how people blindly follow. How deeply they hail their political idols. How desperately they need something like religion to justify their life.
Honestly, if you would have leaded and treated yourself right, you wouldn’t have to be a mere follower. You wouldn’t have to die and kill others like fanatics. If only you would have embraced realism and logic, the way you turn head over heels for your religion and political parties, things would have been different, things would have been better.
