Job Depression

When you first start working at a place you really wanted to, you do your best, go above and beyond and take pride in your work. But then things get monotonous, leadership fails you, and you find that your co-workers have nothing to do but talk bad about each other.

You then think of your first day and what lead to this very moment. Then you stop giving your all, stop going above and beyond and you stop taking pride in your work. You imagine scenarios in your head about the moment when you tell your boss you’re resigning with a big smile on your face; but soon this smile will fade away as you realize you don’t have an alternative job as it is hard to find a new job in a bad economy. The picture of your family at your desk reminds you of obligations, mouths to feed, and taxes to pay, so you decide to swallow your pride and continue doing this shitty job by putting a fake smile every morning and pretending you will be okay.

 

Courage

Courage is leaving a secure job to follow your dreams or travel the world

Courage is having a kind heart in a cruel world

Courage is leaving an abusive relationship or even a loving relationship when it’s not quite right for you

Courage is breaking society rules and taking the road less traveled by

Courage is telling your boss no when you sense there is something illegal or just plain wrong

Courage is waking up with a smile on your face when you are at the end of your rope

Courage is leaving your hiding place, taking off your mask, and let the world see the real you

Courage is the ability to strengthen yourself against the fear and despair of life, rather than be drowned by it

Courage is standing up for your values, ideas and morals against what is right in a sea of people that embrace what is wrong.

My Mondays Rules

My Monday’s rules are quite simple basically they can be sum up into this following line: Don’t speak until spoken.

You Know It’s Monday

You know it’s Monday when you wake up your spirit animal is a tortoise that’s stuck on its back. There are grunts involved, and some hobbling.

You know it’s Monday when you are in killing spree mood after receiving a lion’s share of “Good Morning”

You know it’s Monday when nothing quite goes right: you’re late despite waking up at 5:30 am, you put salt instead of sugar in your coffee cup then you spill your coffee on your new outfit,  your socks don’t’ match, you caused paper jam in the printer, etc and then you start to sob with pain

You know it’s Monday when you start to feel like a third grade student looking forward for lunch break

You know it’s Monday when you plan to stare at the ceiling and slowly drift into madness and start doubting your mental health

You know it’s Monday when your faith in God is restored again “Lord give me strength”

You know it’s Monday when you prefer to go to the dentist instead going to work/school

You know it’s Monday when you all you do is sitting on your chair quietly plotting your escape
